Schottenstein Center to host campus-wide viewing of BCS National Championship Game

COLUMBUS – Ohio State students, faculty and staff will gather by the thousands to watch the Buckeyes battle Florida for the BCS National Championship title starting at 6:30 p.m., Monday (1/8) at Value City Arena in the Jerome Schottenstein Center, 555 Borror Dr.

The "Buckeye Championship Game at the Schott" will feature the match-up on the center scoreboard screen and include food, games, prize drawings and entertainment throughout the evening. A pre-game show will begin at 8 p.m., followed by kickoff at 8:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to current OSU students, faculty and staff, but tickets are required. Free tickets are available at various locations on campus with a valid BuckID.

Media covering the event should enter through the pass gate entrance located at Door 1212 on the northwest side of the building. Parking will be available in the west lot. Requests for live feeds or phone lines should be made directly to Colin Thompson, facilities management, at (614) 688-8298.
