Statement from Ohio State University President Michael V. Drake regarding Gov. John Kasich’s State of the State Address:

“Ohio State appreciates the governor’s recognition of our efforts and commends him for the leadership he has shown in college affordability. We share the goal with the Governor and legislative leaders of working together to support access, affordability and excellence. We have made great progress here at Ohio State in this area, freezing in-state, undergraduate tuition for four years, holding room and board flat last year, providing millions of dollars in affordability grants to thousands of our students, and holding a campus-wide summit last year to explore new ideas.”
