Wexner Center launches free iPhone app. In a continuing effort to harness new media and provide information on a wide variety of platforms, the Wexner Center has launched an iPhone (and iPod Touch) app to offer iPhone users a one-stop information resource. This newly designed application includes the Wexner Center’s calendar of events across programming areas as well as visitor information, social media functionality, and Wexner Center video and audio content. The Wex app is downloadable for free at iTunes, the iPhone App Store, or via the following direct link: go.osu.edu/BEy
The app was developed in-house at the Wexner Center primarily by Alex Ford, a 22-year-old former student employee at the Wexner Center and a recent graduate of the Ohio State’s Department of Industrial, Interior and Visual Communication Design. SEE: http://wexarts.org/wexblog/?p=4763
