Ohio State and Clemson team up for community service project – Dec. 30. The Ohio State University and Clemson University are teaming up to perform a community service project in Phoenix, Arizona, site of the College Football Playoff semifinal game. University leaders, students and fans from both schools will partner with the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, 2831 N. 31st Ave., Phoenix, to work in its pantry distribution center.
The St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance is one of the largest food banks in the country, and offers a number of programs including emergency food boxes, a community kitchen life skills and food service training program, a mobile pantry, child nutrition programs and citrus gleaning.
The service project takes place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. MST on Friday, Dec. 30 from 9-11:30 a.m. The project is a combined effort of Ohio State’s Office of Student Life and Clemson Student Affairs.

The Ohio State University Marching Band travels to the Fiesta Bowl.The Ohio State University Marching Band will travel to Arizona to perform at the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, on Dec. 31. The media are invited to cover these band appearances and performances leading up to the College Football Playoff semifinal game.
