HUD to announce funding for neighborhood revitalization plan – Jan 10. A grant announcement tomorrow will support the development of a comprehensive neighborhood revitalization plan to transform the Poindexter Village public housing community and surrounding neighborhood in Columbus. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing Sandra B. Henriquez will join Columbus Housing Authority President Charles D. Hillman and representatives of PACT (Partners Achieving Community Transformation) in announcing the award.
PACT is a partnership between the City of Columbus, The Ohio State University, The Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority and Near East Side stakeholders to invest in the neighborhood.
The grant announcement will be made at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow (1/10) at the Pointdexter Village Community Center, 240 N. Champion Ave.
