HOW TO REDUCE YOUR CHOLESTEROL LEVEL--July 14.  The Faculty and 
Staff Wellness Program offers a series of free lunch hour 
educational programs during summer quarter.  Learn specific 
pharmaceutical and nutritional strategies for reducing the LDL 
(bad) cholesterol while increasing the HDL (healthy) cholesterol in 
Cholesterol Reduction Strategies:  You Can Make a Difference.  Two 
Ohio State experts will lead the seminar, which begins at noon in 
250 Parks Hall, 500 W. 12th Ave.

OSU GYMNAST AND GYMNASTICS COACH WILL REPRESENT U.S. AT GOODWILL 
GAMES--July 16-Aug. 2.  Sophomore gymnast Jamie Natalie will 
represent the U.S. as one of only six Americans to make the U.S. 
Gymnastics Goodwill Games team.  The competition takes place July 
16-Aug. 2 in Long Island, New York.  Natalie was one of the top 
freshmen gymnasts in the country last season, scoring team season 
highs for Ohio State on vault, pommel horse and parallel bars.  Head 
gymnastics coach Miles Avery has been named an assistant for the 
men's U.S. Gymnastics Goodwill Games team.  Avery, who finished his 
first year as head coach at Ohio State, has also been an assistant 
at the 1996 Olympics and the 1994 World Championships.

ERGONOMICS INSTITUTE OFFERS SEMINAR--July 20.  The Institute for 
Ergonomics invites you to attend the Summer Quarter Seminar 
presented by Dr. Brian Peacock, Manager of General Motors 
Manufacturing Ergonomics Laboratory.  Dr. Peacock's presentation, 
Ergo is More Difficult than Nomos, will focus on the relationship 
between ergonomics application and research.  Dr. Peacock will 
speak on Monday July 20 at 11:30 a.m. in Room 263 Dreese 
Laboratories, 2015 Neil Ave.
