LAW SCHOOL HOLDS NEGOTIATION COMPETITION--Nov. 8.  Law students
from across the Midwest will compete in the regional negotiation
skills competition beginning at 8 a.m. at Drinko Hall (College of
Law), 55 W. 12th Ave. Every room in Drinko Hall is scheduled to
be used for the day-long event.  The competition simulates the
negotiation process, where opposing parties try to agree to a
settlement in order to avoid litigation.  Judges, lawyers and
other Columbus professionals will judge the teams as they
negotiate a problem involving education law.  Each two-student
team will try to get the best settlement for their client while
keeping the relationship between the parties amicable.
