Strickland to speak at first University Clean Energy Alliance Conference

Gov. Ted Strickland will address research leadership from 15 Ohio universities at the inaugural University Clean Energy Alliance of Ohio conference at 9:30 a.m. Monday (4/23) at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High Street.

Strickland will discuss the importance of research and development of clean energy alternatives to the state.
Following the governor's remarks, university presidents and vice presidents of research will sign a memorandum of understanding to work collectively to study advanced alternative energy solutions. After the signing, representatives from each university will be available to the media for questions and comments.
