Student financial aid director to testify before House committee

Tally Hart, director of Student Financial Aid at The Ohio State University, will testify before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform hearing on federal student loan programs. Specifically, she will discuss how the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program works at Ohio State, which has the largest direct loan program in the nation.

The hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday (5/26) in Room 2154 of the Rayburn House Office Building, South Capitol Street & Independence Avenue SE. Hart's testimony will be a part of the second panel, featuring university representatives. Officials from the U.S. Department of Education will be testifying in the first panel.

The purpose of the hearing is to examine the management and performance of the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and the Federal Direct Loan Program.
