Student input sought about policing center

A public meeting to discuss the proposed Neighborhood Policing Center near Ohio State University will be held at 7 p.m., April 12, in the Main Lounge of the Ohio Union (1739 N. High St). Representatives of the City of Columbus, Ohio State University and the architectural firm designing the new Columbus Police substation in the university area will present plans and take questions, suggestions and comments from students.

The Neighborhood Policing Center will house both the Precinct 4 offices of the Columbus Division of Police and some spaces for use by community groups. Construction is funded by the City of Columbus and The Ohio State University.
