Students to 'party with a purpose' during BuckeyeThon 2006

Ohio State students and members of the Columbus community will participate in the fifth annual BuckeyeThon, a 14-hour dance marathon benefiting Columbus Children's Hospital. Last year, BuckeyeThon raised more than $70,000 for Children's Hospital patients.

The dance marathon, called "A Party With a Purpose" is from 9 p.m. Friday (2/3) through 11 a.m. Saturday (2/4) in the Ohio Union Ballrooms, 1739 N. High St. Children's Hospital patients and their families will join nearly 400 dancers for the event's conclusion.
