Traffic Alert: Parking reminders for Ohio State University men's basketball games

Due to the increased popularity of Ohio State University men's basketball games, traffic is much heavier this year than in the past. To avoid getting stuck in traffic and missing any of the game, fans should plan to arrive at least 45-60 minutes prior to tip-off. Doors to the Jerome Schottenstein Center open 90 minutes prior to the start of the game.

Fans with parking passes must clearly display them when approaching parking lots so that officers are able to see them and sort traffic appropriately.

Fans arriving within 30 minutes of tip-off may be directed to other on campus parking locations since the parking lots adjacent to the Schottenstein Center tend to fill early on game days.

Traffic conditions are dependent on a number of variables, including venue attendance, game start-time, weather conditions, university business/class traffic, and other campus events, which may warrant a change in traffic patterns from time to time. Please follow directions from the officers in the street as they are working hard to get you to the closest available parking as quickly as possible.

For more information regarding men's basketball parking, please visit OSU Transportation & Parking Services' website: http://www.tp.osu.edu/.
