University statement regarding May 13 federal guidelines for Title IX compliance

The Ohio State University follows the current federal guidance. Members of the university community may choose to use the facility that corresponds with their gender identity, and Ohio State is committed to providing both individual-user, gender-neutral facilities and supporting individuals’ use of the facility that corresponds to their gender identity.

The university is aware of the additional guidance issued today and will review it to determine if additional action is needed.
