University to release results of investigation

The Ohio State University will hold a news conference today at the Younkin Success Center, 1640 Neil Ave., to release the results of the President’s Special Investigation Committee. President Karen A. Holbrook with Interim Executive Vice President and Provost Barbara Snyder formed the committee last July following allegations in the New York Times questioning the university’s integrity with respect to student athletes.

Joining Holbrook and Snyder at the news conference will be Matthew Platz, distinguished university professor in the Department of Chemistry, who chaired the committee.
