Love is a big business
Marketing professors Robert Leone and Rao Unnava from the Fisher College of Business can discuss the commercial aspects of Valentine’s Day. Leone is an expert on retail pricing strategies and the marketing of packaged goods. Unnava is an expert in consumer behavior (decision making and trends), and marketing and retail strategies.

Chocolate lovers reap benefits
With Valentine’s Day, the chocolate-giving holiday, approaching, it’s good to know that there are some good reasons to eat chocolate Sharron Coplin, registered dietitian and OSU Extension state specialist in the Department of Human Nutrition, can talk about what researchers have found about chocolate that is helpful in preventing heart disease and how to eat chocolate in a healthy way.

Relationships that work take work
Cupid’s arrow may have brought you together, but it takes work to make relationships successful. Donna Crossman, a marriage and family sociologist at Ohio State, says the saying that love conquers all is a myth. She advises students in her “Sociology of the Family” course to keep their eyes open and be realistic about expectations in relationships.
