A love letter to veterans, from the Ohio State Marching Band

During Saturday’s football game against the UCLA Bruins, The Ohio State University Marching Band performed its annual salute to the armed forces with a “Letters from Home” halftime show honoring World War II veterans.

Featuring battleship and airplane formations accompanied by songs like “In the Mood,” “At Last” and the theme from “The Pacific,” the performance delivered a touching tribute to United States military members.

TBDBITL also treated fans on the east side of Ohio Stadium to an exclusive view of the action, playing toward the away team sideline for the first time this season.

Saturday’s i-dotter was Joseph Orr, a mechanical engineering major from Chillicothe, Ohio.
