From Hawkins to the ’Shoe: TBDBITL enters the Upside Down
Marching band performs electric tribute to ‘Stranger Things’

The Ohio State University Marching Band turned Ohio Stadium “upside down” on Saturday with its Stranger Things-inspired halftime show, bringing the eerie excitement of the hit show to the ’Shoe.
During halftime at the Penn State game, fans were transported to 1987 Hawkins, Indiana, with music from the Netflix series, including songs like “Separate Ways,” “Running Up That Hill” and “Master of Puppets.”
The show featured formations such as a Stranger Things title sequence and a bicycle racing across the field. With its mix of precision marching, nostalgic ’80’s classics and dramatic visuals, the performance had Buckeye fans on their feet — and maybe checking over their shoulders.
Saturday’s Script Ohio i-dotter was Kelly Scott, a primary education degree holder from Worthington, Ohio.
