Homecoming parade, pep rally celebrate Buckeye spirit
President Karen A. Holbrook, the 2004 Homecoming Court, the marching band, more than 100 student organization floats and Brutus the Buckeye will celebrate Buckeye pride during the traditional Ohio State Homecoming Parade.
The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at Ohio Stadium and then travel north on Cannon Drive, east on Woodruff Avenue, south on High Street and west on 12th Avenue.
Following the parade, the university community can show school spirit while enjoying appearances by Archie Griffin, former Buckeye football great and Ohio State Alumni Association president/CEO, Olympic athletes Blaine Wilson and Katie Smith, members of the Ohio State football team and the 2004 Homecoming Court during the annual pep rally, which is from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the South Oval.
