MEDIA ADVISORY: Ohio State University trustees to recognize Sen. Glenn, consider proposal to create John Glenn College of Public Affairs

The Ohio State University Board of Trustees will formally recognize former Sen. John Glenn at the start of its meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30 at the Longaberger Alumni House, 2200 Olentangy River Road. The recognition comes before trustees consider an agenda item to change the status of the John Glenn School of Public Affairs to the John Glenn College of Public Affairs.

Also at the start of the meeting, the board will recognize the 2014 Ohio State Buckeyes, winners of the first College Football Playoff national championship.

WHAT: At the start of the regular board meeting, trustees will recognize former Sen. John Glenn, who has instilled a culture of leadership, citizenship and public service at Ohio State and the John Glenn School of Public Affairs

WHEN: Meeting begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 30

WHERE: Longaberger Alumni House, Sanders Grand Lounge, 2200 Olentangy River Road.
