***Notice of Meeting: Ohio State University Trustees to meet Aug. 28-30

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State University Board of Trustees and its committees will meet Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 28-30, 2013.

Meetings on Wednesday and Thursday take place at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau Federation 4-H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive. The meeting on Friday takes place at the Ohio Union, 1739 N. High St.

The schedule includes a meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for Ohio ethics training. Trustees will meet in executive session from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

There will be meetings on Thursday, Aug. 29 of the Medical Affairs and Advancement committees from 1 to 2:30 p.m.; the Audit and Compliance and Governance committees from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m.; and meetings of the Finance and Academic Affairs and Student Life committees from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

On Friday, the formal board meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. Trustees will meet in executive session from 3 to 5 p.m.

In addition, a Symposium on the University Presidency begins at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30. Current and former university presidents from across the country will engage in a discussion to help frame the search for a new president of Ohio State.
